BPHS Graduation Requirements

220 (minimum) Credits Required to Graduate


Language Arts - 40 Credits

  • Required LA: Autobiography and Advanced Language Arts

  • Social Studies - 30 Credits

  • Required Social Studies: Civics or US Government

  • Mathematics - 20 Credits

  • Required: 10 Credits Beyond Algebra

  • Science - 20 Credits

  • Required Science: Computer Science/Programming

  • Physical Education/Health - 10 Credits

    Fine Arts & Humanities - 20 Credits

    World Languages - 10 Credits

    Service Learning - 20 Credits (a combination of the following)

  • Required: 5 Credits through BPHS Service Learning Class and 5 Credits of outside Service Learning

  • Volunteer (25 hours, approved by advisor) = 5 credits

  • Internship (50 hours plus paper, approved by advisor) = 5 credits

  • Paid Work (100 hours, submit copies of pay stubs) = 5 credits

  • Passed four (4) of the last six (6) blocks (or last 2 before graduation)

  • Stories Credit

  • Passed five (5) of the last seven (7) blocks (or last 2 before graduation)

    5. Completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    6. Scholarship Applications (minimum 5)

    9. Resume with LinkedIn Account Informatin
    10. Miscellaneous Items: Academic Achievements, Extracurricular Activities, Resume, Rewards, Letters of Recommendation, Samples of Artwork, etc.

      Friday, March 30th @ 2:00pm

      Autobiography Course completed for any students who had prior enrollment in the course

      Friday, May 4th @2:00 pm

      Senior Portfolio Due

      Friday, May 4th @2:00 pm

      Boulder Prep Scholarship Due
      ALL independent work must be completed

      Thursday, May 17th @5:00 pm

      In good standing (passing grade) for all enrolled coursework needed for graduation
